Project Status Reports

Project status reports provide periodic updates on the progress of hydropower projects across Arunachal Pradesh's four river basins. These reports track milestones, expenditures, and compliance with MoU terms for each project.

The department prepares these reports through field inspections and developer submissions, and they are reviewed at regular intervals by the Secretary and Director/Chief Engineer.

Report Scope

• Physical progress against project timelines (percentage completion of key milestones)
• Financial progress including expenditure against approved estimates
• Status of statutory clearances (environmental, forest, CEA techno-economic)
• Land acquisition progress and rehabilitation activities
• Transmission infrastructure development for power evacuation

Basin-wise Coverage

• Kameng Basin — including Kameng (600 MW) and other projects
• Subansiri Basin — including Subansiri Lower (2,000 MW) and related projects
• Siang Basin — including Upper Siang (11,000 MW) and other projects
• Dibang-Lohit-Tirap Basin — including Dibang Multipurpose (2,880 MW) and Etalin (3,097 MW)
