Citizen Charter
The Citizen Charter of the Department of Hydropower Development, Arunachal Pradesh, outlines the department's commitment to transparent governance, timely service delivery, and accountability to the public. This charter has been prepared in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), Government of India.
The department is committed to providing accessible and responsive services to citizens, project developers, and stakeholders. Any delays or grievances may be reported through the official grievance redressal mechanism.
Services Offered
- Information on hydropower project allotments and MoU status
- Provision of Detailed Project Report (DPR) summaries on request
- Processing of No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for project-related activities
- Response to Right to Information (RTI) applications within statutory timelines
- Public consultation notices for new project proposals
Service Standards
- RTI applications processed within 30 days as per the RTI Act, 2005
- Grievances acknowledged within 3 working days of receipt
- NOC applications processed within 45 working days, subject to inter-departmental clearances
- Public information updated on the website within 7 working days of any policy change
Grievance Redressal
- Public grievances may be filed through the Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS)
- The department's Public Information Officer (PIO) is available for RTI-related queries
- Complaints regarding project-related issues may be directed to the Executive Engineer of the concerned circle
- Escalation to the Secretary (Hydropower) is available for unresolved grievances
