Public Grievance Redressal
The Department of Hydropower Development participates in the Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS), a platform maintained by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), Government of India. Citizens can file grievances related to the department's functions through this system.
The department is committed to addressing all legitimate grievances in a timely and fair manner.
How to File a Grievance
- Visit the CPGRAMS portal at pgportal.gov.in
- Register with your name, address, and contact details
- Select "Government of Arunachal Pradesh" and then the relevant department
- Describe your grievance in detail and attach supporting documents if any
- Submit and note your registration number for tracking
Grievance Categories
- Delays in project-related approvals or clearances
- Issues related to land acquisition and compensation
- Complaints about environmental or social impacts of projects
- Queries about free power allocation and state benefits
- General enquiries about departmental policies and procedures
Resolution Process
- Grievances are assigned to the concerned officer within 3 working days
- The officer investigates the matter and provides a response within the prescribed timeline
- Citizens are notified of the resolution through the CPGRAMS portal
- If unsatisfied, citizens may escalate the grievance through the appellate mechanism
